hey so basically llms are all about language patterns and generating text based on huge amounts of data. think chatbots, summaries, creative writing. it's a linguistic thing. self-driving ai is totally different. it's about real-time perception of the physical world (like using cameras, lidar, radar), making decisions on the road based on actual physics, and then controlling a car. it has to deal with safety and immediate physical consequences in a way llms dont. one's text, the other's real world action.
