imo, the line is pretty much whether you're using it to *learn* or to *bypass* learning. like, if you ask it to explain a complex topic in simpler terms, or generate practice questions based on your notes, that's studying. but if you're asking it to write your essay or give you direct answers to homework problems, that's straight-up cheating. it's about putting in the effort yourself, even with the AI as a tool.
