9800x3d idle temperatures

just built my new rig. what are normal idle temps for the 9800x3d? mine feels a bit high.

hey, pretty sure you mean the 7800x3d right? the 9800x3d isn't a thing yet lol. but for the 7800x3d, idle temps can be kinda weird. mine usually sits around 40-50c, sometimes even hitting low 50s. it kinda jumps around. anything above 60c *idle* would make me check stuff though. are you on stock cooler or aio/custom loop? sometimes windows power settings mess with it too.
