intel core i5-12500t for a server?

looking at the 35w 12500t for a home nas. does the low tdp actually save that much power at idle?

yeah that makes a lot of sense. tbh i always thought 'T' chips were just universally more efficient even at idle. good to know it's really the whole system, like mobo and psu, that pulls most of the weight for low power draw. kinda frustrating when you think you're getting a huge saving just from the cpu spec.
