Can someone explain the YouTube monetization requirements for 2025? I’m trying to understand what’s needed to qualify.

You need 1,000 subscribers and either 4,000 public watch hours in the last 12 months, or 10 million public Shorts views in the last 90 days. Your content must be original, authentic, and follow all policies with no active strikes.

• 1,000 subscribers on your channel.
• 4,000 valid public watch hours in the past 12 months.
• Adherence to all YouTube policies and guidelines.
• Having an approved AdSense account.
• Living in an eligible country/region.
