I was watching stories on Instagram and noticed the option that says forward. I’m a bit confused about what does forward mean on instagram story. When I tap the screen, it quickly moves ahead, but I’m not sure if it skips to the next part of the same story or goes to another person’s story. Is the forward action just a way to skip a story slide faster? Also, can the person who posted the story see if someone forwards through their story? Would like to understand how this feature actually works.
