Quick privacy question: Does Instagram actually notify the other person when you screenshot a story, a regular post, or a DM? I keep hearing mixed answers on this.
I've noticed that Instagram does notify when someone takes a screenshot of your story, but not when they screenshot your posts. The notification for stories is usually in the form of two small eyes in the top right corner of the screen, but I'm not sure if this is always the case. Has anyone else noticed this difference between stories and posts?
"Instagram does not notify the account owner when you screenshot their story or post. However, if you screenshot a story, it will be saved to your camera roll. But, if you screenshot a post, it will be saved as a screenshot in the 'Saved' section of your camera roll, not as a separate image."
