How to Turn off SOS on iPhone?

I’m looking for some help figuring out how to turn off the SOS feature on my iPhone. It keeps activating accidentally, and I’d like to know the steps or settings to disable it safely without affecting emergency functions. Any suggestions?

Go to Settings > Emergency SOS to prevent inadvertent button presses that activate the Emergency SOS feature. Here, turn off the switch that says "Call with Hold and Release" or "Call with Five Button Presses." By doing this, the automatic call shortcut is turned off.

To turn off the automatic call function of SOS (which makes accidental calls), you must disable the activation shortcuts:
  • Go to Settings $\rightarrow$ Emergency SOS.
  • Toggle off "Call with Hold and Release" (for newer iPhones).
  • Toggle off "Call with 5 Button Presses" (for older models and some new ones).
  • You may also toggle off "Call After Severe Crash" (iPhone 14 and later).

In order to deactivate the SOS shortcut, to Settings Emergency SOS, and disable Call with Side Button or Auto Call, depending on which of these is activating the SOS. This prevents the calling of emergency services accidentally upon pressing buttons on your phone.

In order to disable SOS on iPhone, press the Emergency SOS features in the settings by the following steps: Settings s Emergency SOS and switching off the Call with Hold and Call with 5 Presses. Also check network issues.

To disable the SOS auto-call feature:
  1. Go to SettingsEmergency SOS.
  2. Toggle off "Call with Hold" (to prevent holding buttons from triggering it).
  3. Toggle off "Call with 5 Presses" (to prevent rapid side button presses).
The SOS slider in Control Center remains for manual use.

To turn off SOS on iPhone, go to Settings > Emergency SOS and disable Call with Hold and Release, Call with 5 Presses, or Call with Hold. You can also turn off Auto Call to stop accidental emergency calls.
