I recently purchased an Amazon Fire TV Stick, but I am still unclear about its functionality. How does a FireStick stream films and TV programs to a TV? Does it have to be connected to WiFi all the time, and is there a monthly charge? I would be grateful if you could explain, in simple terms, what a Fire TV Stick is and what it takes to install it properly.

An Amazon Fire TV Stick plugs into your TV’s HDMI port and connects to Wi-Fi. It streams movies, shows, and apps from services like Netflix or Prime Video. You control it with a remote (or voice). It essentially turns any TV into a smart TV with internet-based entertainment.

A Firestick works by using a streaming device connected to your TV's HDMI port, allowing access to various content from the internet. It runs on Amazon's Fire OS, providing a user-friendly interface to browse through popular streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video. You can also install third-party apps for more content options.
