When it fails to pair automatically, restart the Firestick and attempt it once more, or use the Fire TV app on your phone in order to get the device fully operational.

To match the Firestick remote, just switch on your TV and the Firestick, How to match the Firestick remote, just tap the home button on the remote and hold it in 10 seconds to automatically match it. In case it is not connected, re-booting the Firestick or changing the batteries of the remote normally works.
