building a custom loop and the rads use different screws. what is the actual difference in mm between m3 and m4?
hey so m3 and m4 just refers to the diameter of the screw. an m3 screw is 3mm wide, and an m4 is 4mm. so yeah, it's a 1mm difference in diameter. you can't really mix and match them without stripping or having a loose fit. usually m4s are for thicker rads or where the case wants a beefier connection.
