Discord won't launch on my computer at all. I click the app, but nothing happens, no error message or loading screen. I even restarted Windows, but the issue is still there. Can someone please explain to me why Discord won't open and how to fix it on Windows?

Discord may not open due to outdated app, corrupted cache, server issues, or system problems. Try restarting your device, updating or reinstalling Discord, and clearing its cache.

There can be several reasons why Discord will not open, such as corrupted cache files, one of the background processes stuck, or the app version being outdated. First, try closing Discord from Task Manager completely before reopening it, clearing the Discord cache folder, or reinstalling the app. Also, do not forget to check your internet connection and make sure your system date/time is correct. Besides, synchronization issues at the operating system level can make Discord not load properly.

this usually happens when Discord is stuck running in the background or its cache got corrupted. Try ending all Discord processes in Task Manager and then clear the Discord cache (AppData), that almost always fixes it
