Hey, I was curious—who actually owns Netflix? Is it mostly controlled by a few major investors, or is it more of a public company with lots of shareholders? Would love to get some clarity on that!

Netflix is a public company, so no single person owns it. Most shares are held by big investment firms like Vanguard and BlackRock, along with many individual investors.

Netflix is a publicly traded company, so it isn’t owned by any single person or business. Most of its shares are held by big investment firms like Vanguard Group and BlackRock, along with other institutional investors, while individual founders and executives like Reed Hastings own small personal stakes. In short, ownership is split between large institutions, retail investors, and a few insider executives.

Netflix doesn’t have a single owner. It’s a public company, so its shares are spread across millions of investors. The biggest chunks are held by large investment groups like Vanguard and BlackRock, while founders like Reed Hastings own only a small portion today.
