White Spot in iPhone Screen! How Can I Fix It?

I have observed a bright spot on the display of my iPhone that won't disappear. It is quite noticeable when the background is light. The spot isn't some dirt or a thing on the top of the phone; to me, it looks like the light is coming from within the display. I doubt if this is a broken screen issue, a pressure mark, or a hardware defect. Did anyone have a white spot on their iPhone screen before? Can it be fixed somehow, or is it necessary to change the display?

A white spot on an iPhone screen is usually caused by pressure damage, a stuck pixel, backlight issue, or internal hardware fault. Restart the phone first, clean the screen, and check if the spot appears in screenshots (to rule out software). If it remains, it likely requires professional repair or screen replacement at an authorized service center.

If you notice a white spot on your iPhone screen, try these steps:
  1. Restart your iPhone – a simple reboot can sometimes fix minor display issues.
  2. Check for software updates – go to Settings → General → Software Update.
  3. Remove screen protector – it may trap air bubbles causing white spots.
  4. Apply gentle pressure – lightly press around the spot if it’s caused by stuck pixels.
If the spot persists, visit an Apple Store or authorized repair center.
