video editing tips for beginners

hey! oh man, welcome to the premiere pro journey lol. it can feel like a lot at first but you'll get it. here are a few things that helped me when i first started:
* start with the absolute basics: cuts, transitions, how to import stuff. don't try to learn everything at once.
* youtube is your best friend. seriously, search for "premiere pro for absolute beginners." justin odisho and peter mckinnon have really good stuff.
* keyboard shortcuts will save your life. like, a lot. start with j, k, l for playback, c for razor tool, v for selection.
* don't be afraid to just mess around and break things (virtually, of course). that's how i learned the most tbh.
good luck!
