software for arctic liquid freezer ii 360?

just installed the aio but there is no usb header. how do i control the pump speed without proprietary software?

hey man, usually the pump itself just plugs into a PUMP_FAN or CPU_FAN header on your motherboard. you control the speed through your bios or your motherboard's own software like MSI Center or Gigabyte Control Center. the usb header is almost always just for the RGB or other fancier stuff, not the pump speed itself. have you checked your mobo manual for the header locations?

oh awesome thanks for the tip

You can actually control the pump speed of your Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 without using proprietary software by utilizing the motherboard's fan headers and speed control features. Most modern motherboards have fan headers that can be used to control the speed of the pump, you can connect the pump to one of these headers and then use your motherboard's BIOS or software like SpeedFan or HWiNFO to adjust the speed. Alternatively, you can also use a third-party fan controller that can be connected to your motherboard's fan headers, this way you'll have more control over the pump speed without needing any proprietary software.
