oh man i hate when one note does that. had it happen to me before, usually when the file is super big or something weird. what i tried that sometimes works:
* try restarting your pc first, sometimes it's just a weird process stuck.
* make sure the file isn't huge, like a giant pdf. one note gets choked sometimes.
* if it's a pdf, try printing it to microsoft print to pdf first then inserting *that* pdf. sometimes that cleans it up.
* also check your one note version, sometimes an update helps or hurts lol. good luck!
