It is becoming difficult although not impossible and there are still a few tricks such as turning off the internet during the installation or making a dummy email in order to make a local account. It just gets less convenient with every update of Microsoft.

Yeah, Windows 11 is definitely pushing hard for Microsoft accounts, but honestly, a few workarounds still pop up if you dig a little, I’ve managed to stick with a local account on one of my setups, though it’s getting trickier each update
