yeah, could totally be virtual memory if it's a huge repack. had that happen once. try manually upping your paging file size in windows settings. also, sometimes it's just your antivirus blocking something, so maybe disable it temporarily during install. and run the installer as admin too, always helps with those repacks. good luck!
