saw an ad for gamer challenger to win money playing matches. does it actually pay out or is it a scam?

yeah heard similar from a friend. he won like 50 bucks playing rocket league on one of those sites, but it took almost two weeks to get it to his paypal. so yeah, not a scam like mason said, but definitely be ready to wait for withdrawals.
