How to Turn Off Voice on Roku?

Can someone help me figure out how to turn off the voice feature on my Roku? It keeps reading everything on the screen, and I’m not sure how to disable it. Any advice would be appreciated!

There are two main voice features to turn off:

1. Screen Reader (Talking Menu Voice):

• Go to Settings $\rightarrow$ Accessibility $\rightarrow$ Screen Reader (or Audio Guide).
• Toggle the feature to Off.
• Quick Fix: Press the * (Star) button on your remote four times quickly.

2. Descriptive Audio (Narrator in Shows):

• While playing the content, press the * (Star) button.
• Find Audio Track or Accessibility & captions.
• Select an audio track that does not say "Audio Description" (DA).

Turn off voice on Roku by pressing the Star () button* four times quickly on your remote. You can also go to Settings > Accessibility > Screen Reader and switch it off. This disables the spoken audio guide instantly.

That’s just the screen reader talking. Go to Settings → Accessibility → Screen Reader and switch it Off, or press the * button 4 times fast to shut it up.

In order to disable the voice in Roku, you need to press the Star button on your remote, and go to Accessibility and turn off Screen Reader or Audio Guide. Another option that is available to you is to go to Settings > Accessibility > Screen Reader and switch it off. Reboot the device when voice persists.

On your Roku, press the * button on your remote while on the home screen, go to Accessibility, and turn off Audio Guide. This will disable the voice narration.
