How to Turn Off Active Status On Instagram?

Hey, does anyone know how to turn off the active status on Instagram? I’d like to browse without others seeing when I’m online. I’m not sure where to find the setting—any help would be appreciated!

In order to disable Active Status on Instagram:

Open the Instagram application and turn to your profile.

Click on the three line menu (top right) and then settings.

Activity Status Select Privacy.

Switch off Activity Status.

This will conceal your online status to other individuals, and you will not get to see theirs either.

You can turn it off easily. You can do this by simply going to Settings - Privacy - Activity Status and then turning off "Show Activity Status." After that no one will see when you're online.

In order to turn off your Instagram Active Status:

1. Go to your profile and select the Menu (☰) button.
2. Choose Activities and preferences.
3. story replies and Tap Messages.
4. Select Show activity status.
5. Toggle off Show activity status To make your presence invisible. (This even conceals the position of others to you.)

3. Allow tap messages and story responses under the How other people can contact you.
4. Tap Show activity status.
5. Switch off the Show Activity Status. (Note: You will also not be able to see the active status of other people.)
