Sent friend requests in Facebook are accessed by logging into the application or website and navigating through Friends > Friend Requests, clicking on View Sent Requests/Sent. This will show all the requests you have sent which have not been accepted yet. It is also possible to cancel friend requests through this section.

tbh those answers just describe the old way to find it. if the ui completely changed like you said, those menus might be moved or look totally different now. have you tried looking under your profile pic or a 'more' menu? sometimes they hide stuff there now. it's super annoying when apps do this.

I totally feel you, the new Facebook update can be confusing. To see the sent friend requests, you'll need to go to the Friends tab, which is now buried under the profile picture menu. Click on your profile picture, then click on Friends, and from there you can see the outgoing requests by clicking on the See All button next to Friend Requests, and then there should be a little toggle to view the ones you've sent out. It's a bit of a digging process but that's where they've moved it to, at least for now until the next update.

2. Tap Friend Requests.
3. Select View Sent Requests (or “See All” → “Sent”).

This will show all the friend requests you’ve sent that are still pending.
