How To Pause Location On Find My iPhone?

I'm trying to work out how to stop the location on Find My iPhone for a while, without switching off the phone. Is there any trick to temporarily not sharing your location with someone and then re-sharing it later? Just want a straightforward and secure way.

To pause location on Find My iPhone, you can’t directly pause it, but you can temporarily stop sharing by turning off Share My Location in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Share My Location, or by disabling Location Services entirely.

Although you can't pause location on Find My iPhone directly, you can temporarily cease sharing by disconnecting Location Services or turning off Share My Location in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Share My Location.

Yeah, the easiest way is to open Find My, tap your name, and switch off Share My Location, it pauses sharing without turning off the phone. I’ve done that before when I just needed a little privacy, and you can turn it back on anytime.

To pause location on Find My iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, select Find My, then choose Share My Location and turn it off. You can also enable Airplane Mode to temporarily stop location sharing without notifying others. Turn it back on anytime.
