How to Find Archived Emails in Gmail?

Can someone explain how to find archived emails in Gmail? I’m having trouble locating messages I archived earlier and would appreciate any simple steps or tips to find them.

Since archived emails are not removed and continue to show up in search results, you can either use the search bar to look for keywords, sender names, or dates, or you can open Gmail and click All Mail from the left sidebar, where all archived emails are stored.

In Gmail, archived emails can be found on the All Mail folder within the sidebar (it may be hidden, and this requires clicking More). Alternatively, enter -in:inbox or in:archive in the search bar to find the email messages that are not in your inbox.

Open Gmail and click All Mail from the left sidebar to view archived emails in Gmail (or search for in:archive in the search bar). Here, all archived messages are stored together with your inbox emails, only that they do not have the Inbox label.

Think of archived emails like “out of sight, not gone.” Just click “All Mail” on the left or use the search bar, and you’ll see all your old messages, including the ones you archived.

To find archived emails in Gmail, open Gmail and go to All Mail from the left menu. Archived emails appear here. You can also use the search bar to find archived messages by keywords, sender name, or subject.
