How to Delete Reddit Account?

I need help understanding how to permanently delete a Reddit account. Could someone please share the steps or any important things to consider before deleting it?

To delete a Reddit account: Go to User Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm your username and password.

First, open Settings and scroll all the way to the bottom for Delete Account. (On Android, you have to tap "Account Settings" first.). Remember, your posts will not be automatically deleted; you have to delete them manually before closing the account.
