how to delete instagram account

where is the option to delete instagram they keep hiding it in the settings

Yeah they hide it a lot Go to Profile → ☰ (top right) → Settings and privacy → Accounts Center → Personal details → Account ownership and control → Deactivation or deletion, then choose your Instagram account and tap Delete.
