How to Control Volume on Your Amazon Firestick?

Can anyone help me figure out how to control the volume on my Amazon Firestick? I’m not sure if it’s done through the remote or if I need to adjust settings. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

To control volume on an Amazon Firestick:
  • Use the Fire TV remote if it has volume buttons.
  • If your remote doesn’t, use your TV’s remote or soundbar/receiver remote.
  • You can also control volume through the Fire TV app on your phone if it’s connected.

The Amazon Firestick can be adjusted to higher or lower volume either through the Fire TV remote (when it has the volume buttons) or directly through the TV or soundbar.

To control volume on your Amazon Firestick, use the Fire TV remote’s volume buttons, a compatible TV remote, or the Fire TV app. Ensure your Firestick supports HDMI-CEC or has Alexa voice control for seamless volume adjustment.

On Fire TV Stick 3rd Gen, I use the +, - buttons. Fire TV Stick Lite's remote does not feature +, - buttons for volume. I press and hold the Select button for about 2-3 seconds until the volume panel is shown on the screen.

In an Amazon firestick, you can use the remote control volume buttons (when connected to your TV or sound system) to control the volume. Or, turn the TV or soundbar up or down. Other Fire TV remotes have HDMI-CEC to allow the remote to automatically control the volume.
