How To Clear Instagram Cache?

My Instagram app has been running a bit slow lately, and I think the cache might be the problem. I’m not sure how to clear it properly—especially without losing any important data. Can anyone share tips or suggestions on the best way to clear the Instagram cache?

This is how I typically go about it:
  • On an Android device, navigate to Settings → Apps → Instagram → Storage → Clear Cache.
  • iOS lacks a direct clear cache option, so you'll need to remove and reinstall the app on your iPhone.
The app then frees up some space and feels more fluid.

This is how I generally approach it:
On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Instagram → Storage → Clear Cache.
Because iOS does not have a direct clean cache option, you must uninstall and reinstall the program on your iPhone. The app then clears some space and seems more fluid.

To clear Instagram cache, go to Settings on your phone → Apps → select Instagram → tap Storage → choose Clear Cache. On iPhone, you must delete and reinstall the app to remove the cache. You can also clear in-app browsing data from Instagram Settings → Browser → Clear Browsing Data.

To clear Instagram cache, go to your phone settings → Apps → Instagram → Storage → tap Clear Cache. On iPhone, delete and reinstall the app to remove cached data.

It is possible to clear the cache of Instagram without losing your account with data. In the Android platform, open the Settings menu; then go to Apps; then go to Instagram; then go to its Storage; and then press the Clear Cache button. Instagram also lacks a clear cache clear button on iPhone, and as such, the simplest method is to uninstall and reinstall the application, which will delete temporary files but leave your login and data untouched. This normally assists in quickening the app and correcting simple glitches.
