To change an AirTag battery, press down on the stainless-steel back and twist it counterclockwise. Remove the cover, take out the old CR2032 battery, and insert a new one with the positive side facing up. Replace the cover and twist clockwise until it clicks.
To replace the battery of an AirTag, press the stainless-steel back cover downward and then rotate it against the clockwise direction, then crack open the old battery, replacement with a new CR2032 battery with the positive terminal facing the sky, and then twist the back cover again against the clockwise direction until it clips.
In order to replace the battery of an AirTag, one has to press the stainless-steel back cover and turn it counterclockwise to access it. Pull out the old CR2032 battery, pull out the new one, with the positive side facing up and then the cover and twist it in a clockwise direction until it clips into place.
