seriously how do professors actually prove you used ai on a paper?

nah for real tho, my friend told me some profs just kinda know your writing style. if it suddenly jumps to super formal perfect english that's a red flag. also those ai detectors like turnitin are a thing, but they're not always accurate. i think the biggest giveaway is if it's too generic or you can't explain your own points if they ask.
