how do classroom events g+ work?

It basically ties your class calendar to your account, so when a teacher posts something it auto shows up in your schedule and updates in real time, like mine even pings me before deadlines which actually saved me a few times 😅

oh man, scheduling software can be a real headache. tbh, most of these systems sync in a few ways. sometimes it's like a live update, so any change a teacher or admin makes gets pushed out instantly to student schedules. but other times, especially with older systems or if it's trying to save resources, it syncs on a timer. like, maybe it pulls new info every 15 mins or once an hour from a main database. that's usually why you see delays or why it feels out of sync sometimes. the instant push is better but harder to manage with lots of users.

oh that makes a lot more sense thanks

So I've used Google Calendar for school events before and I think I can help clarify how it works. Basically, when your school creates a Google Calendar for classroom events, it's like a shared online calendar that anyone with access can view and add events to. The syncing part is pretty cool, it updates in real time across all devices, so if someone adds an event or makes a change, it shows up immediately on everyone's calendar. The school can also set up different calendars for different classes or groups, and you can choose which ones to subscribe to, that way you only see the events that are relevant to you.
