google oauth error 400: redirect_uri_mismatch

setting up google login for a web app and getting a redirect uri mismatch. i literally copy pasted the exact url into the cloud console.

oh man i've hit this so many times. usually it's something super dumb like a trailing slash you missed (or added) or http vs https. did you double check if google console saved properly after you put it in? sometimes it's also a port number if you're local, like http://localhost:3000 vs just http://localhost. happens to the best of us lol
