nah, not exactly. from what i've seen/heard, turnitin generally uses a more sophisticated algo for AI stuff, especially with their newer updates. safeassign is decent for plagiarism but i think their AI detection isn't quite on the same level yet.

It's mainly built for plagiarism detection, not AI specifically, so it won't catch AI writing the same way something like Turnitin's AI detector would.
