stressing out a bit, do uc schools strictly run essays through ai detectors?

hey, yeah, a lot of schools are def using ai detectors these days, not just ucs. i've heard they mostly use them to flag stuff for a closer human review, not just an auto-reject. so 'strictly' might be a strong word, but they are looking. best bet is just write it yourself, totally original. that way you don't have to stress about it at all.
