running dism to fix some corrupt windows files and it just sits at 62.3 percent for an hour. do i kill it or wait?
ugh, hate when dism does that. had it get stuck on me a couple times before, not always at 62.3% but similar. generally, you really don't wanna kill it unless you absolutely have to. can make things worse. i'd honestly just leave it for a few more hours, maybe even overnight if you're not using the pc. sometimes it just needs a lot of time and eventually finishes. if it's still dead stuck tomorrow morning, then maybe a forced restart is the only option, but try waiting first imo.
