hey, yeah, 5900x on budget VRMs can be a pain. for top-down, i'd look at the noctua nh-c14s. it's kinda big but the fan pushes a lot of air down onto the board itself, which really helps the VRMs stay cooler. i used one on an older ITX build with a hot cpu and it made a huge difference for my temps. make sure it fits your case tho.
