converting m3u playlist to mp3?

i have an old m3u file. is there a software that can download or convert the tracks into actual mp3 files locally?

yeah 4k downloader is pretty solid for video stuff. for m3u specifically, if you already have vlc media player installed, that can sometimes handle it. like, you can open the m3u in vlc and then go to 'convert/save' and see if it can pull the audio out as an mp3. it depends on what the m3u links actually point to though, imo.
