Can I Buy Reddit Accounts?

Recently, I've noticed several posts on social media where people discuss purchasing along with buying older Reddit accounts loaded with plenty of karma. But I wonder, can one really buy Reddit accounts? And does doing so comply with the rules set by Reddit? I'd like to get a clearer understanding of the mechanism behind this trade and the potential hazards one may encounter, such as bans or fraud. I'd be grateful if experts could shed some light here.

There may be people who sell Reddit accounts online, but it is against Reddit's terms of service to buy accounts, and your account can get banned permanently, usually without any warning, if you do. Besides that, it is also pretty risky as sellers have the possibility of recovering the account later, so most of the time it is not worth it. Growing your own account naturally is a better way to go in the long run.

You definitely can find sites selling them, but it’s a massive risk. Most of those accounts are botted or hacked, and Reddit’s detection systems are pretty good at spotting sudden IP changes.
