best gpu for 1440p gaming right now?

what's the current sweet spot card for stable 1440p 144hz without spending a grand?

hey man, for 1440p 144hz without breaking the bank, the rx 7800 xt is pretty solid. i've got one and it handles most games really well. you can usually find it for around 500-550. nvidia side maybe a 4070 super if you can stretch the budget a tiny bit, but 7800xt is probably your best bet imo.
