just noticed a purple circle around a message in my dms. did they add a new feature?

purple circle? hmm, what app are you seeing this on? like instagram dms or discord? never noticed anything exactly purple myself, but sometimes they change notification colors or add new icons for replies or reactions. could be something like that.
