Hey, could someone help me understand what ‘IG’ means? I see it used a lot online and in messages—sometimes. How do you know which one people are referring to?

In texting, IG usually means “I guess.” It can also mean Instagram, depending on the context.

The social media said IG which refers to the Instagram. It may also be construed to indicate I guess or in-game but most typically, it is in reference to Instagram.
