What Are Linkedin Impressions?

I’m trying to understand what LinkedIn impressions mean and how they work. Could someone explain how impressions are counted and what they indicate about post visibility or profile performance? Any insights or examples would be helpful.

LinkedIn impressions show how many times your post, article, or ad was visible to someone. This is not the number of people who clicked or interacted with your content's just that your content was displayed in their feed or search results.

LinkedIn impressions stands for how many times users have seen your post or content on LinkedIn. It accounts for each view, so if the same person sees it several times, it will still be counted as a new view, and thus, it helps to measure your contents reach or exposure.

Impressions are a top-of-funnel metric. They’re useful for measuring reach but meaningless without context like clicks, reactions, or comments. High impressions with low engagement usually mean weak relevance.

The impression on LinkedIn will indicate the number of times that your post was displayed on the screens of these people whether or not they engaged with it.

LinkedIn impressions include the number of times that your content appeared on a screen. Each user may provide several impressions in case he/she watches your post two times. Impressions are total visibility and brand awareness in contrast to reach (unique users).
