throwback: apple unveils iphone 3gs

The iPhone 3GS, launched in 2009, was all about speed—the "S" stood for exactly that. It introduced video recording, voice control, and a compass. While 16GB storage seemed massive then, it’s a tiny fraction of today’s standards, highlighting how rapidly mobile technology and our digital appetites have evolved.

yeah for real. i remember my 3gs was so fast compared to the original iphone. but man, 16gb felt like it filled up instantly once you started taking videos and downloading like, 5 apps. imagine trying to put modern games on that lol. wild how much space we need now just for basic stuff.
