I'm really puzzled about how to do the underline in a Discord message. I know the bold and italic pretty well, but I'm not sure about the underline. How do I underline text in Discord desktop or mobile correctly?

To underline text in Discord, wrap your text with double underscores:
__your text__ → your text
Works in messages, edits, and most Discord chat fields.

Underlining text in Discord is done using Markdown formatting. To underline a word or sentence, place two underscores before and after the text, like this: __your text here__. This will result in your text here. You can also combine this with other formatting styles, such as using three underscores ___text___ to both underline and italicize your message, making it stand out in a channel.

Underlining text in Discord is done using simple Markdown formatting. To underline a word or sentence, you must place two underscores on both sides of the text, like this: __your text here__. Once you hit enter, the underscores disappear, and the text is displayed with a line beneath it. This is a great way to emphasize specific parts of a message during a conversation.

Discord has no built-in underline option. To underline text, use Markdown spoilers or italics for emphasis, or copy-paste underlined Unicode text from external generators. Alternatively, enable Markdown extensions in supported bots for underline formatting.

To underline text in Discord, use double underscores before and after your text:

Example: __Hello__ → underlined Hello.

You can also combine it with bold or italics using formatting symbols.
