I’m having trouble with a 'DNS Server Not Responding' error on my Windows PC, and it's blocking my internet access. I’ve tried a few basic fixes, but no luck so far. Does anyone have suggestions or step-by-step solutions that worked for them?

Hey, I fixed the “DNS server not responding” issue on my Windows PC like this:
  1. Restarted my router and computer.
  2. Flushed the DNS by opening Command Prompt and running:
    ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew<
  3. Changed the DNS server to Google’s: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in Network settings.
  4. Turned off my antivirus/firewall for a bit to check if it was blocking stuff.
  5. Updated my network adapter driver.
After doing this, my internet started working fine again.

It can be resolved by flushing DNS (ipconfig /flushdns), restarting your router or using Google DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) as your network settings, most issues are fixed within a few seconds.
