I’m looking for help or suggestions on how to find and manage duplicate values in Excel. What are the easiest or most effective methods, such as built-in features, formulas, or tools, to identify duplicates?

You‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ can locate duplicate entries in Excel by highlighting the range of your data, navigating to the Home > Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cells Rules > Duplicate Values option that will visually mark all duplicated entries in a flash or by means of a formula such as =COUNTIF(A:A,A1)>1 that returns TRUE for duplicated cells so that you can check them in a newly added ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌column.

Duplicates may be located with the Conditional Formatting, or such formulas as COUNTIF. These tools make it easy to bring out or take away repeated data.

In order to identify duplicates in excel, one may utilize Conditional Formatting to highlight repeating values or may use formulas such as COUNTIF to determine how many times a specific value is repeated. These applications render the detection of duplicates fast.

To find duplicates in Excel, select your data, go to Home → Conditional Formatting → Highlight Cells Rules → Duplicate Values, choose a formatting style, and Excel will highlight duplicates. You can also use COUNTIF for more control.
