How to Delete A PayPal Account?

Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to delete my PayPal account and could use some help. I’m not sure which steps to follow or what I should check before closing it. Has anyone done this before? Any suggestions or things I should be aware of would be really appreciated!

The only way to remove a PayPal account is to log in, under Settings, choose Account, Close your account, verify your information, empty any balance or problems, and make the final decision permanent.

You can delete your PayPal account by logging in on a browser, going to Settings (the gear icon), selecting Account or Account Options, and clicking Close your account; just make sure you withdraw any remaining balance and cancel any active subscriptions before closing it.
