I'm interested in knowing how to strike through text in Discord while chatting. I've noticed users applying the strikethrough on the text in their messages, but I don't know how to do that myself. How can I cross out text in Discord both on mobile and desktop?

To strike through text in Discord on desktop or mobile, type two tildes (~~) before and after your text:
~~example~~ → example
Works the same on phone and computer—just add the symbols and send the message.

You can also do strikethrough using two tildes around your text to cross out the text in Discord. Write it in the following way: ~~your text and send the message. It will be scribbled out in the chat. It is compatible with desktop, mobile, and web versions of Discord.

To cross out text in Discord, use double tildes. Type ~~your text~~ in the chat. When you send the message, the text appears crossed out. This formatting works on both desktop and mobile versions.

To cross out text in Discord, place two tildes (~~) before and after your message, like this: text, and it will appear with a strikethrough.

To strike through text on Discord, you should put a double tilde (~~) both in front of and after your text (like this: ~~text~~). Using the desktop version, you can simply highlight words and pick the strikethrough button from the pop-up menu. For mobile, you have to use the markdown pattern ~~.
