yeah it can be tough to get rid of that plastic look. i usually find adding camera specs helps a lot, like 'shot on canon r5, 50mm f/1.4' and 'photorealistic' or 'documentary photo' to the prompt. also, definitely try some negative prompts like '--no cgi, --no render, --no artificial, --no cartoon'. sometimes specifying 'natural lighting' or 'slight film grain' can make a big difference too. good luck!
